Winter Break

AIAS Syracuse hopes everyone has a restful and productive break before the spring semester begins! With our time off we are working on several new programs and projects for our members and the School of Architecture. There will be a lot to unveil in January and we will keep our members posted on our first meeting. With that, enjoy the rest of your break and we are looking forward to another great semester.

AIAS:SYR at Toronto

This past weekend the Syracuse Chapter of the AIAS took 26 students to Ryerson University in Toronto in to order to attend the annual Fall Quad Conference. We joined AIAS chapters from schools across the Northeast including Drexel, Northeastern, Temple, Catholic, Penn State, Pratt, Howard, and more. While learning issues of urban sustainability for today and the future we were able to explore one of the regions fastest growing metropolis and experience some of these issues first hand.

This was a great conference and Syracuse was very excited to be a part of it. We hope to be hosting a Quad Conference in the coming years and until then we are looking forward to visiting Maryland this spring!
