2009-2010 Elections

AIAS Syracuse is excited to announce that the elections for the 2009-2010 academic year will be hosted on Thursday March 17 in the Slocum Auditorium.

Any and all members that are interested in running for a position should email Stephen Klimek at spklimek@syr.edu by Sunday March 22 at 5p and additionally plan on attending this Sunday's officer meeting at 5p in the Marble Room in order to confirm your intent to run and talk to current officers about their roles over the past year.

Becoming an officer in the AIAS is an incredible opportunity to get involved in your school and create positive change in the architecture community. There is a good deal of responsibility but also a great deal of fun for all officers. Gaining this type of leadership is an invaluable skill that professors and employers alike will respect and reward.

The current positions for next year are listed below and are followed by any requirements put forth in the AIAS by-laws. All members are eligible to run unless otherwise noted. If any prospective officers have specific or general questions about various positions and the roles of each please do not hesitate to contact the Election Committee Chair Stephen Klimek at spklimek@syr.edu.
